About This Role
Take on a pivotal role in expanding Full Moon Island Resort's global footprint. As a Tourism Developer, you will bridge the gap between our hidden island gem and the European travel market. This opportunity revolves around strategic business development: identifying key partners in the European tourism sector, negotiating contracts, and designing competitive travel packages. You will analyze market trends to position our resort as a must-visit destination for eco-conscious and luxury travelers. This is more than just a coordination role; it is about building a sustainable distribution network that ensures the long-term success of the resort while promoting responsible tourism in Cambodia.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential European tour operators and travel agencies aligned with our brand values.
- Design and price attractive travel packages that combine accommodation with unique island experiences.
- Initiate and manage B2B sales cycles, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and signing.
- Create targeted marketing collateral and presentations for trade shows and partner meetings.
- Serve as the primary liaison between European partners and the resort's on-site operations team.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Facilitate familiarization trips (fam trips) for key travel industry partners.
Requirements
- Solid background in tourism business development, B2B sales, or travel agency operations.
- Existing network within the European travel industry is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and financial metrics.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills and fluency in English.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to open new markets.
- Ability to work effectively across different time zones.
