About GlobeMentor

GlobeMentor is a platform operated by Raffael Wendlinger that connects volunteers with curated opportunities at partner host organizations. We facilitate introductions between volunteers and hosts but are not party to any agreement between them.

What We Do

We curate and present volunteer opportunities from vetted host organizations. When you apply through our platform, we forward your application to the relevant host. The host organization makes all decisions regarding acceptance and the terms of your volunteer experience.

Your Responsibilities

When using GlobeMentor, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your applications
• Communicate respectfully with host organizations
• Honor any commitments you make to host organizations
• Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose

No Employment Relationship

Volunteer positions are unpaid and do not create an employment relationship with GlobeMentor or the host organization. Volunteers participate at their own discretion.

Relationship with Hosts

While we vet our partner hosts, GlobeMentor is not responsible for the conduct, programs, accommodation, or services provided by host organizations. Any arrangement you make with a host is directly between you and that organization.

No Guarantees

We cannot guarantee that you will be accepted for any volunteer position. Host organizations make their own decisions about which applicants to accept.

Limitation of Liability

GlobeMentor provides this platform as-is. We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during your volunteer experience. We recommend that all volunteers obtain appropriate travel and health insurance.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
